It’s on the Meter indeed!
1Inspiration is an important and rare thing, which is exactly why I went to Paris: to meet with the crew of “It’s on the Meter” project. These guys have set the new Guinness record for the longest taxi ride by traveling around the world in an old English cab over the course of 15 months. Back before they started, I saw a short article about it and was really impressed at their bravery and determination. Knowing about their project was one of the many pieces of the puzzle that eventually had shaped itself to be the MAD DAWN Challenge.
I wished to congratulate them on their success in person and re-charge my own inspiration batteries at this slightly difficult time of my own, full of unexpected set-backs. But any difficulties are temporary and can be overcome. After all, back then over a year ago at the More >
Paris rendez-vous?
2Hello, fellow earthlings!
Are you in Paris this week? Are you interested in meeting us, learning more about the project, or do you have your own exciting project? Maybe you are interested in collaborating in any way? Let’s do it! Let’s have a rendez-vous in Paris! Contact us any time during the week if you wish to meet up .
Share the MADness!!!
April thanks!
0One more month and one more thanks-giving, as well as an update on our latest developments, are here!
The news are more important: we have ran into a series of set-backs with the video, and it may need to be re-done… We’re already working on the back-up plan, including the option of shooting a replacement. There have also been some unforeseen family issues that popped up, setting both of us back from our ideal plan and schedule for everything. To everyone who has been supporting us so far and awaiting further progress – we will get there and we will not wear off into oblivion! We’ll be back on top of everything as soon as the troubles that are currently more pressing are resolved.
There are some good news though. In just a few short days I will finally be able to meet up with More >
March Thanks!
0It is time to thank our supporters yet again!
This month has been relatively quiet – we are still waiting for the intro video to be edited, and it is taking, as is often the case, much longer than we hoped. We are working behind the scenes in the meantime – lots of planning and scheduling. Nevertheless, even on this quiet month we have great people to thank!
First and foremost, huge thank you goes to our new contributor Troy Spencer! He is a massage therapist and an occasional photographer, shooting nature and landscapes. He also occasionally volunteers for charity events. If you need some pain relief and happen to be in Tallahassee, FL - definitely contact him!
Second, great thanks go to Arlynn Presser - and amazingly inspirational, gorgeous human being who faced her agoraphobia last year head-on, by meeting most of her 325 Facebook friends and traveling to More >
